Care Instructions: Men's Linen Shirt

Washing

• Machine wash cold or lukewarm (max 30–40°C) on a gentle cycle, or hand wash.
• Wash with similar colors, and turn inside out to protect the fibers.
• Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, which weakens linen and can yellow white shirts.
• Don't overload the machine, since linen needs room to move.

Drying

• Line dry or lay flat in the shade; direct sun can fade colors.
• Avoid tumble drying, which can cause shrinkage and harsh creases. If you must, use low heat and remove while still slightly damp.
• Shake the shirt out and smooth the collar and cuffs by hand before hanging.

Ironing

• Iron while slightly damp on medium-high heat (the linen setting).
• Iron inside out for dark colors to avoid shine.
• Steam also works well for a quick refresh.
• Light wrinkling is part of linen's natural, relaxed character.

Storage

• Hang on a wide or padded hanger to keep the shoulders' shape.
• Store in a cool, dry, breathable space, not in plastic.
• Make sure it's fully dry before putting it away to prevent mildew.

Good to know

• Linen softens with every wash.
• Expect slight shrinkage (around 3–5%) on the first wash unless the fabric is pre-washed.
