Care Instructions – Chemises & Tops

Treat your pieces with a little love and they’ll stay beautiful for seasons to come. Always check the care label inside your garment first, as it takes priority over general guidance.

General Care

• Wash inside out to protect the color and surface of the fabric
• Wash with similar colors, and wash dark and bright shades separately for the first few washes
• Use a gentle, mild detergent; avoid bleach
• Close any buttons, zips, or hooks before washing
• Do not tumble dry unless the label allows it; air dry away from direct sunlight and heat
• Store folded or on a padded hanger to keep the shape

Cotton & Linen Shirts

• Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle
• Reshape while damp and hang to dry
• Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for a crisp finish

Satin, Silk & Silky Blouses

• Hand wash in cold water or dry clean for best results
• Do not wring or twist; gently press out excess water with a towel
• Dry flat or on a hanger in the shade
• Iron on the lowest setting, inside out, or use a steamer

Knit Tops & Sweaters

• Hand wash in cold water or use the wool/delicate cycle
• Never hang wet knits; dry flat to keep the shape
• Fold instead of hanging to avoid stretched shoulders

Fuzzy & Textured Knits

• Hand wash cold, inside out, and handle gently
• Do not rub or wring
• Dry flat, then gently brush or shake to fluff the fibers

Good to Know

• • Steam rather than iron delicate fabrics to remove creases
  • Spot clean small marks with cold water before they set
  • Let pieces rest between wears to help them keep their shape
