Care instructions
- Wash: Hand wash cold (max 30°C) with a gentle wool or delicates detergent, or machine wash inside out in a mesh bag on a delicate cycle. Wash with similar colors, and skip bleach and fabric softener.
- Dry: Never wring or twist. Roll in a towel to remove excess water, then lay flat and reshape while damp. Keep away from direct sun and heat, and do not tumble dry.
- Iron: Steam lightly instead of ironing, or iron inside out on low with a cloth in between.
- Store: Always fold, never hang, so the shoulders don't stretch. Store in a cool, dry place with cedar or lavender to keep moths away.
- Pilling: Small fuzz balls are natural with soft knits. Remove them gently with a fabric shaver or knit comb, never by pulling.
Fabric Notes
- Chenille: Wash inside out and avoid heat and friction to protect the velvety pile. Lay flat to dry.
- Fluffy & eyelash knits: Light shedding is normal at first. Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry, then shake gently to lift the fibers.
- Lurex & metallic knits: Hand wash cold and avoid direct ironing. Keep away from jewelry and bag straps that can snag the threads.
- Jersey & melange knits: Machine wash gently at 30°C, inside out, and steam to refresh.
